Code Switching is a teen art program at the Nanaimo Art Gallery that offers young people the opportunity to become fluent in the language(s) of contemporary art, while retaining the agency to insert their own interests and means of expression. The term, code switching, occurs when a speaker alternates between two or more languages, or language varieties, in the context of a single conversation.
For our pop-up art show we will be displaying our exploration of the language of photography.
This is where you will find us!
