Rod loves to paint humorous satirical reflections on pop culture.  He finds the many avenues pop culture takes are fascinating, and he explores many of them. Some of his favourites are UFO, Cruise Ship, Food, and Ecclesiastical cultures. There is too much seriousness, sensitivity, and pressure in society today and he wishes that his images will  leave a memorable chuckle with the viewer.
